Intermediate: ~ 4 - 5 years old

Senior: ~ 5 - 6 years old

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

  • Holistic development of the mind, body and soul

  • Focus areas include cognitive skills, intellectual abilities, emotional expression and management, motor and sensory skills, social and communication skills, artistic potential

  • Particular emphasis on character development

  • Learning framework based on the seven elements of music: melody, pitch and harmony, dynamics, rhythm and tempo, expression, timbre and tone, texture and articulation

  • Develop psychomotor skills through cognitive, associative and autonomous stages which will be helpful not only for music playing, but also for overall development

  • Lay the foundations for music learning through fun and play (with a balance of self-exploration and guided play) including appreciation, perseverance, patience, discipline, etc.

  • Gain exposure to different musical instruments and different musical genres
